Storm at Sea
Teacher: Linda Davis
When:  Monday October 11
Time:  10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Cost:  $30.00

When looking at a Storm at Sea quilt, most people marvel at the curves that SEEM to be in the quilt.  It is really made of all straight sided pieces!  The careful placement of fabric by value and combination of triangles create a perfect illusion of curves.  You can choose a scrappy pallet or select just a few fabrics for your Storm at Sea.  For ease of cutting, there will be templates available for purchase.  This project is more successful when students have some piecing experience.

Cost: $35.00

This is a method class to teach you how to do the quilting on your home machine.  You need a reliable machine with a walking foot and a darning foot that are made for it (the generic ones tend not to work very well).  We do a LOT of talking about the “hows” and then play with a practice piece that is included in the class price.  This is definitely a ‘must’ class.  You’ll definitely get some tips that will make your job easier, making the cost of the class worthwhile.
