Spring has sprung, the flowers are in bloom….did you think it was ever going to arrive? There is so much to be done this time of year and it is difficult to stay indoors after this long and cold winter but we hope you will. The store is awash with color to inspire your indoor gardens. Many wonderful new florals for spring have arrived as well as golf and baseball fabrics, “Brown Bear, Brown Bear” and new brights from “Teachers Pet”. We even have a couple of the cutest fabrics from “Bunnies Day Out” to create that new Easter quilt, table topper, table runner or wall hanging.
Have you taken a class from us in the past? Are you scheduled to take a class here in the future? As teachers we hope each of you successfully finishes all your class projects but we very rarely have a chance to see them. In order to share your quilts with us we would like to showcase your work on the website. After you have finished a quilt (it can be quilted or just the top) just email us pictures. We would love to share your success!! On the selfish side, it also gives us an opportunity to see all the great projects we have inspired you to make!
With the arrival of spring is also the arrival of quilt shows. Stop by our booth at both the Twin City Quilt Guild show being held April 25th and 26th and the Clarence Log Cabin Quilters show May 15th – 17th. Both shows highlight this areas outstanding talent in the world of quilting. All the details on these shows can be found on page 4.
Just a reminder, we are able to refill your “Best Press” bottles. We have both the unscented and lavender scents available. Small bottle refills cost $2.79 and large are $6.49. This saves both you and the environment.
