For the first time in ages we are offering the Professional/Computer tote bag with Mary Margaret Symanski. This looks to be a very interesting class for all you intermediate quilters. This versatile bag is one that everyone wants!

Rose Corsage with Diana Brock should be a class anyone can enjoy, even non sewers. It’s a dimensional project, a flower that never wilts!

Coming to class with pre-wound bobbins is always a good idea. A few of our classes have a need list and there may be a bit of “pre-sewing” before class begins.

No— not a wrap to eat, but one to have fun making.  Create a bowl, purse, basket, or a hot pad.  The first step is to learn how!  Fabric strips are wrapped around a cord then sewn together to create different shapes.  Use the wrapping and coiling technique to create any of the above mentioned projects.  All supplies, including the book
It’s a Wrap by Susan Breier, are available at Sew What?

Beginner and advanced quilters will find this quilt addictive! Easy to make, the result is dramatic. The trick is in the choice of fabric. The focal fabric works best when it is loud and obnoxious. The cutting can be nerve-racking, so join us for this class and we will hold your hand. Layer the repeats, cut triangle shaped pieces from the same part of the repeat, and create a kaleidoscope effect that is irresistible! Think ‘out of the box’ and challenge yourself to buy the most obnoxious fabric available…who can resist a challenge like that??

This quilt is paper pieced, and is nowhere near as hard as it looks. The model is made at 50% of normal size but don’t let that scare you. There are full size blocks available for those not bitten by the “miniature” bug and you can certainly make the whole project in the larger size. The wonderful thing about paper piecing is the accuracy, so even complicated looking patterns like this one are easily attainable by all.
