Magic Melons

When: Monday, August 20th
Time: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM

This dimensional quilt is different and so much fun to make. When we offered this image008popular class last semester, everyone’s fabric choices looked great. Plaids, primitives, brights, pastels and florals all were successful choices. Try this fun ‘quilt as you go’ method, use up batting scraps, and end up with an original and excellent quilt.

Paper Pieced Log Cabin
When: Tuesday August 28th
Time: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Cost: $35.00

Paper piecing leads to perfect piecing, allowing you to make more intricate designs

out of ordinary traditional blocks. This paper pieced log cabin block has 21 pieces in a 7″ block! You just wouldn’t be able to be accurate enough if you were not paper piecing it! The log cabin can be substituted for Pineapple, or Twisted Log Cabin, the method is exactly the same. Your color choices can be scrappy or controlled, either looks great! A pieced border completes the look.
