Hi Girls!

I hope everyone is doing well.  I have a lot of things going on in the store right now, so I thought I would try to keep you all informed.  First of all, we are switching to SUMMER HOURS as of Memorial day.  We will be open Mon-Thurs 10-5, Friday 10-4 and Saturday 10-3.  Of course, if you are unable to stop by when we are open, you can always call, and make an appointment and I will try to meet your needs.

Sew What will be participating in the Great Shop Hop Adventure in early June.  The dates are: June 8-11.  Hours are: Wednesday and Thursday, 9-7, Friday and Saturday 9-5. There is an awesome sewing machine as a grand prize. It’s a Babylock “Katherine” and has a retail value of $1799!!!!  That’s a great prize! There are lots of gift certificate prizes, and a giveaway of a spool of thread from each shop.  Check out the Great Shop Hop Adventure Facebook page for details about participants, or simply give us a call.

Sew What is also participating in the Row by Row Shop Hop, now entering it’s sixth year. )  The Row by Row Shop Hop is now nationwide, including all 50 states as well as most of Canada.   It’s like a shop hop, but it’s not… no fees, no cards to stamp, and all summer to play! Simply visit any of the participating shops and receive a free pattern for a row in a quilt. Combine your rows in any way to create a unique quilt that represents the fun you had traveling throughout the summer. Travel with friends, discover new quilt shops and have fun collecting rows! This year’s theme is “Home Sweet Home”.   Once again, Sew What will have the most unique row…no birdhouses for us!! (Think Big) Create a quilt using at least 8 different 2016 rows from 8 different 2016 participating RxR shops and be the first to bring it into a participating shop to win a stack of 25 fat quarters (6-1/4 yards of fabric!). Use that shop’s row in your quilt and win a bonus prize! You have until October 31 to hand in your quilt for prizes.

Don’t forget we have a Tuesday Morning “HELP” class every Tuesday from 10-2.  The fee is $10, and you do not need to make an appointment.  Need some help, or just some time to work on your project?  Come join us any Tuesday.

We have embraced our ‘Techie’ side and have been selling on ETSY.  Check us out, we have been putting most of our new stock online right away.  If you can’t find time to browse in person, our Etsy shop can still keep you up to date on our new merchandise!

Quilting on the Bayfront was such a success last fall that we will be participating again.  The dates are September 12-17, and will be held at the Convention Center in Erie PA, just a short ride down the Thruway.  Guest speakers will be Jenny Doan, Annette Ornelas from Southwind designs, Linda Hall, and Kimberbell Designs.  There’s a workshop on Monday and Tuesday and the largest quilt show in the area from Wednesday to Saturday.  Check out for more details.  It was lots of fun last year and I’m sure it will be lots of fun again!!

Any questions, just give a call!
